Trip to a park

There is a butterfly house at a park we go to. The butterflies were really hard to get a snap of so went back to the vegetation!

We discovered a lovely walled garden that we have not been to before.

Tuesday's tantrums

The weather is playing up! It is supposed to be thunder storms so we needed indoor activities for Tuesday - and THEN it was sunny! argh!!!! Anyhow we went to Xscape at Castleford. Emma went in soft play then they played neon golf. We went to see the ski slopes - it looks so much fun! We have agreed that when I get a bit nearer to goal we would go tobogganing. I would not mind skiing but Steven's previous knee dislocations means he could not do that!
As we were coming back through they were demoing the Wii Fit. Guess who wants one now after I was going on about it a couple of months ago!

We ate at F&B's again. I was good this time! The service was really bad. Oh well.

We called to Borders for some train reading matter for the trips to come.

You are probably thinking where are the tantrums! They came later on at home. Not happy with this and we really need to put a stop to it NOW!

Oh nearly forgot this weeks WI! Another stay the same. Got to make better choices and eat at home more!

We're all going to the zoo!

So guess where we went yesterday. Yes you got it to visit the relatives!

We had a great day out. I went swimming first thing (a mile!) and then off to get a picnic to Asda. We set off later than we wanted. Had our lunch before we headed to the zoo. My feet were killing me by 5! it was a real scorcher of a day and while I had put lotion on everywhere I thought I caught it on my face as I had sweated so much.

We had fun in the Orangutan house. It spotted me and then came rushing over to the window to check me out. It sat for ages while I was there. As soon as I moved it shot off! Well weird!

The Jaguar also frightened me by jumping up at the window! The elephants were funny. The baby sat on its mum's head and the the juvenile elephant was trying to push its friend in. The monkeys took a shine to Steven. Emma has just said here favourite part was going on the train. Oh well!

We went for dinner to Frankie and Bennies - an oh dear on the points I fear! Sticky pasta!

Well we are all off swimming in a minute or two as weather not the best today.
