Disney never disappoints..........

I booked the Disney On Ice – Finding Nemo tickets an age ago. We were supposed to be going as a family but Steve had to work – so I asked Em who she wanted to bring. She picked her bestest friend in all the world – Ellen. So off we set VERY early. Made it in good time – popcorn, silly hats, programme purchased and seats taken – was sure I had booked better ones but hey!
The show did not disappoint, action packed and lots of themes from the film that were familiar but enough new stuff to keep you interested. I am sure I was a pain in the but to those around me. I did not use the flash but the green light was popping on every one of the 300 plus frames I took – LOL! It was hard to get good shots but I tried and a few are okay!
The girls enjoyed it very much but its funny you know the exploding tab in the bathroom was more amusing to them than the show!
We then head off to TGI Fridays near the motorway for some lunch. I was really annoying to the girls and got them to pose loads with the balloons. I am sure most people think I am a loon when I have my camera in hand – but who cares! Was getting some fab balloon shots when I forgot to tell Emma “that’s a wrap” I moved the LARGE drinks back to their side – moved out of the shots you see!- when the balloon made contact and the sticky sugar filled liquid made contact with my jeans and NEARLY my beloved camera!
So it was Spaghetti Bolognaise for the Girls. Had to do the comedy slurping alla Lady and the Tramp – well find of! Some lush puds followed – I was very good and although tempted did not partake! Well after the HUGE plate of CREAMY pasta I really could not tell myself it would not matter!
So back to Ellen’s for a cuppa and a chat – how on earth we got onto nits and worms I do not know. None of our kids have any of the above but we managed to talk about them! Happy Mummy talk eh!
So home with a huge craft to do list. Best get the WW chips out of the oven soon for the troops!

tick tock.....

Where does the time go.

Thought I had better catch up on ww journey.

So here I am 34 lbs lighter than just a few short months ago. I will need to drop a point this week as almost dropped to next stone level and am so determined this week to get over that 35 lbs ( 2 and a half stone!).

I think I have just been messing last few weeks. I have not been pointing. mainly healthy choices but BAD habits have been creeping in again. Don't get me wrong not hitting the pasties and mars bars but this week I have.... confession time .... partaken of

  • TOO many bags of Baked crisps
  • 3/4 portion of Fish and Chips - eeek
  • several bits of chocolate ( those titchie withchie mini cadburies bars - you know the ones that are about 55 cals to be exact!)
  • a couple on onion thingies, samosa and mini roll thingie
  • mini cheese cakes

and I managed to lose a pound this week. so not deserved. I will pay for it. so back on the Wagon BIGGGG style. In fact I am pledging to have a few 20 point days and at least 14 activity points this week that I will not eat.

right there we go. I feel cleansed!LOL!

so what else is happening. Governor thingie did not come off. not too bothered as really do not have the spare time and really do I want to "work" with a headmaster who cannot be bothered to even call us to tell us the outcome of the election. He got the administrator to call us. NOT impressed. Communication was my key point.

Work is frantic. I am doing 9 to 12 hours a day at moment. so annoying when have so much else on.

Right I am heading to bed in a minute. needing more sleep with this bad eating. ekkk

so if you are reading this - please be kind and encourage me a little bit that this is worth it.

pics of last weeks hotel

Last week I stayed in the De Vere's when I was doing the SU training. This was second time i had stayed tehre. I wanted to take some pics of the place as it is very PREEETTTIIEEE wedding venue as well as a conference centre and hotel. So here you go ................

Lets feed the ducks....

So we were all together yesterday. I went swimming in am, had some craft projects (watch the other blog for those!) to do so we went for a walk in the afternoon to the local reservoir.

The Pied Piper for the ducks - you were leaving a trail of bread behind you. You can see the sky was crystal clear. These plants were almost like skeletons!
These were some blackberries - not sure we could eat them but nice to see!

Bit of a tradition - you love running to the red fox!
You guys were playing TAG! Look how far you got!

An action shot of Daddy!

Finished off by some yummy pub grub. Mummy put the camera DOWN!
